With it, Nyungwe sits on an area of about 1020 sq. km and has an elevation of 1600-2950m above sea level. This natural rainforest is a wild phenomenon with its vast area of mountains and forests. Nyungwe is a haven for primates, and close to 13 of them have been recorded here. The canopy trees seen over a suspended bridge over the forest give an amazing experience. The trails to the Kamiranzonvu Marsh, the abundant bird species, orchids and waterfalls make Nyungwe a natural paradise.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]There are several different safari activities done in the Nyungwe National Park to attract many visitors from all over the world and these include Bird watching, Guided Nature walking trails and hiking, Canopy walking, Tropical waterfalls, primates trekking such as the Chimpanzees of Cyamudongo Forest, and Camping[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image="1164" img_size="full" style="vc_box_rounded" css=".vc_custom_1729008556637{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;}"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text="About Nyungwe Forest National Park" font_container="tag:h2|font_size:31|text_align:left|color:%23288c07" google_fonts="font_family:Dosis%3A200%2C300%2Cregular%2C500%2C600%2C700%2C800|font_style:600%20bold%20regular%3A600%3Anormal" css=".vc_custom_1729007794178{margin-top: 11px !important;margin-bottom: 1px !important;}"][vc_column_text]Nyungwe National Park is one of the oldest rainforests in Central Africa.
